Karen Smith
The journey for Karen began in 1978 with her first Golden Molly. Since then, she and her daughter Megan have trained and put multiple titles on 17 Goldens. She has taught obedience for the local Golden Retriever Club for over 25 years, chaired Field training and is a Field Instructor. Karen also teaches Freestyle Dancing as well as Doga.
Karen is a certified obedience instructor with the Nation Association of Dog Obedience Instructors, she has been an approved evaluator for AKC's Canine Good Citizen and S.T.A.R Puppy Programs since 1991 and has been an evaluator for Therapy Dogs International, Inc. since 2001.
Training Philosophy:
Karen believes in teaching you how to relate to your dog and how to develop a positive relationship based on your dog wanting to work and play with you.
